Cheap Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can help to rejuvenate your skin. They should be treated with caution as there are some clinics that claim to be able to administer dermal fillers successfully but really do not have either the relevant qualifications or experience. There are also claims that you can buy so-called DIY dermal fillers that you can purchase off the shelf and inject yourself. The bottom line is that cheap dermal fillers may end up costing you more than you bargained for if something goes wrong and you end up in your doctor’s waiting room with a mess.

What exactly are dermal fillers and what do they do?

dermal fillers treatmentIf you are thinking about dermal fillers, you have probably reached the age when your facial skin is beginning to lose its natural elasticity. The reality is that most people start to get wrinkles and lines on their face as they get older. It is quite natural, but that doesn’t means that everyone wants to look like that. Dermal fillers are one of the maim ways that these lines and wrinkles can be reduced o eliminated altogether. They work by helping to fill in the cracks and crevices in the skin, making it fuller and smoother. There are quite a number of different products that appear to have some of these effects on the skin and some are better than others.

Like a lot of things in life, what are often advertised as cheap dermal fillers either don’t do the job so well or don’t last that long. Dermal fillers, like botox treatment, are not permanent. Having dermal fillers injected into the skin is something that you may need to replace after a few months. Luckily, because it is a relatively short procedure it doesn’t cost nearly as much as many cosmetic surgery procedures do, so treating yourself to a dermal filler treatment every now and again is not always going to break the bank and in fact, many clinics will offer plans for longer term payment anyway.

The cost of dermal filler treatment

Most reputable clinics that offer dermal filler treatment will have qualified and experienced practitioners working there. This means doctors and nurses who have proper qualifications, not just beauty therapists who might or might not know what they are doing. The average cost of a treatment with dermal fillers may cost anywhere between £200 and £1,000 per treatment. You tend to get what you pay for, so if you go to a clinic that appears to offer a much cheaper price or cheap dermal fillers, then you may end up regretting it.

There are also dermal fillers which you can buy over the counter to use yourself, but unless you have already had experience with these fillers or know exactly what you are doing or are just plain lucky, you could end up with an infected and sore face and still have the same wrinkles and creases as you did at the start!

Why treatment might vary in cost

The cost of treatment at reputable clinics varies according to the amount of filler used or the amount of face that is treated. In fact, the two are related, of course, because the greater the extent of the lines that you want treating, the more filler is required on them. However, it is just the way that different clinics arrive at a price. Some prefer to use the amount of filler used and others bill you on the mount of face treated.
